Snow, it's here.
Typical Clevelander, it's too cold, it's too hot
wah wah wah.
The only neat thing about winter is that I like the clothes better. Sweaters, jackets, boots; I love them. I have a great collection of boots. When I find some I like, I get them in every color. Other than that, winter pretty much sucks. It takes me a couple of months to get over being cold. Of course it doesn't help that I refuse to turn on the heat until Christmas, but I think it toughens me up. By the time January rolls around, I don't mind the weather a bit.
When I lived in San Francisco, I was miserable if the temperature dropped below 50. A moderate climate will do that to you. You turn into a regular weather wuss in no time.
Classes
OK, I get the message. I need to put on a class. I am shooting for February, at the Paterson center in Burton. As it stands, I will probably hold a soap boot camp.
Amish Community News
Mary Mullet's daughter Suzy married David Gingrich a couple weeks ago. If you ever have the opportunity to attend an Amish wedding, don't pass it up. The food is incredible, and it is a fantastic experience.
Mary put on an incredible event, and I floated the idea of having her host a soap gathering. She rented a couple big tents and all of the women in the community pitched in to do the cooking. If you left Mary's place hungry, it was your own fault.
